Synagogue has much to offer Jews of all ages and backgrounds. Its Services are unique in Anglo-Jewry and from the under-3s play group to the over-60s lunch clubs, there is a place for you. Your annual subscription helps to finance the day-to-day running of a busy, thriving, self-funded community - its organization and staff and the maintenance of its buildings and facilities. Membership fees include the following benefits: * A warm welcome to all our services and events - both social and educational * Children (aged 5-15) can attend our successful Cheder every Sunday morning * Tickets for our High Holyday services * A Community Care Co-ordinator is available should members require regular attention * Membership of the Burial Scheme (see Burial and Cremation Scheme details) * A Bereavement Counsellor is available if required * A monthly Synagogue magazine * A weekly newsletter There are special rates for students, young people, single parents and families. MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE |
| Burial Scheme |
It is compulsory for all
members to be included in our Burial & Cremation Scheme, unless they provide
evidence of being a member of another recognised scheme. |
| Personal Proof |
Both partners of family
membership have to become members of the Synagogue, unless there is evidence
of one partner being a member of another Synagogue or only one partner is
Jewish. A Ketuba or other documents might be requested. |
| Approval |
Applications for membership
are considered by the Executive of the Board for approval. |

| Gift Aid Donations |
As a
registered charity, Belsize Square Synagogue can benefit from Gift Aid. |
