Cantillation: Leyning course – keeping a millenary tradition alive

Learn chanting our Scripture ‘Leyning’ is the Yiddish word for the traditional cantillation of the Torah. We will learn the “Trop”, Yiddish for the cantillation signs. Every Sunday at 10.30-11.30 from 21 January for about two months, I will give a formal course, in order to learn the neginot (Trop signs) and master the ability to read from the Holy Scripture.
