  • 7 March 2020
  • 4 April 2020
  • 2 May 2020

The Kikar Kids Services for 5s and under is a friendly and fun service for our pre-schoolers, led by parents. The children sing and dance their way through a Friday night meal and the Shabbat morning service, with a little education thrown in. Each month we have a special theme. The service takes place in the Synagogue Creche.

The Junior Shabbat Service for children aged 5 and over takes place in the Synagogue Library and is led by our Cheder Head Teacher, Caroline Loison. The service combines songs and storytelling with many aspects of the Belsize Square Synagogue Main Shabbat morning service. The aim is for children to begin to learn the prayers and the tunes, as well as learning about various Shabbat customs.

The services are followed by a Kids’ Kiddush after which the children are then welcomed on to the Bimah in the Main service to sing Anim Zemirot and Adon Olam.

We are always looking for new families to join us on a Saturday morning and you will be assured a warm welcome so please come and find us in the Creche or the Library.
